Description

Iman (Pronounce as Īmān) by definition is religious faith. In Islam, Iman is what has been said by the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) in a hadith narrated by Imam Ahmad which says:

Ibn Abbas (r.a. huma) narrates that Jibrail (a.s.) asked Nabi Sallallhu ‘alaihi wassalam: Tell me what is Iman? Nabi Sallallahu ‘alaihi wassalam replied: Iman is that you believe in Allah and the Last Day, and in the angels, and the Books, and in the Prophets, and that you believe in death, and life after death, and you believe in Paradise and Hell, and the Accountability, and the Scale (of deeds), and that you believe in all (aspects of) destiny, its good and its bad. Jibrail (a.s.) said: The if I do that, have I believed? Rasulullah Sallallahu ‘alaihi wasallam replied: If you do that, you have believed. (Musnad Ahmad)

Iman is something that we need to make an effort on. It is not passed upon generation through genetic or heritage. Iman comes to the one who search for it. A strong iman will lead to a stong ‘amal (Islamic way of living). One of the way we can build our iman is through our senses (eyes, ears, mouth) and brain to see, listen, speak and ponder upon the wonderful world created by Allah s.w.t. Hence, we @ ISAC Studio hope that with this poster, we can somehow remind you about the importance of iman and effort to strengthen it, insha Allah (If Allah is willing).
