Maybe after awhile, you will start asking what is ISAC? Where do they come come from? What are they trying to do? In this entry, we will tell you briefly about our history. The birth of ISAC studio was marked by the creation of MARA College Banting’s first ever nasheed group, Munawwar, at the end of 2005. ISAC Studio’s initial formation was based on the sole intention of forming a nasheed group. Several teachers played a role in discussing this issue. The general consensus was that a club focusing only on nasheed would severely limit the scope of its activities and members. Thus, the idea to fuse several branches of Islamic arts and entertainment under one roof came up. This marked the beginning of the Islamic Arts Club, encompassing nasheed, calligraphy, literature as well as other aspects of Islamic arts. ISAC, under the leadership of Mohd Rafie bin Kamaruzaman, currently still holding the post of President, began to spread its wings, with infinite support from its dedicated members.
