]]>After the first debut (in the United Kingdom and Ireland) at the NEXT 2008, ISAC Studio’s nasheed team, Munawwar took the chance and entered the nasheed competition. During the event, we (Munawwar) presented two songs called Damai Yang Hilang (Peace that is gone) by Nowseeheart and a modified song called Senyum, which simply means smile. It was originally a theme song for Maybank and had appeared several times in television and radio in Malaysia. We made a set of new lyrics for the song Senyum. The “minus one” for this song is made possible with the help of Faizul and we would like to thank him for helping us even at the very last minute. The night before the event took place, Munawwar and UCD Band sang out loud the whole night as their last preparation for the event.
All contestants had performed amazingly. Well done to the champ, Muaz (RCSI) and Casper for their breathtaking performance as well as the first runner up, Atap Hijau from Cork with their wonderful songs. Not forgetting the UCD Band (which include Hijaz, ISAC’s head of linguistic dept.) singing the Michael Hearts’ top-of-the-chart song, Soutul Galway and Khairul Azhar. We would like to take this opportunity to express our utmost appreciation to the judges, Ustaz Erfino and Syed Izzat Mirwana for assessing our performance and made us the second runner up (which we thought it was pure luck). Above all, we would like to congratulate all the committees for making NEXT-Eire a success.

]]>Ever listen to his songs before? He is not just Michael Heart with husky voice and amazing talent of making music, but he is one of the heartiest musicians among thousand others.
Michael is a pop/rock unsigned singer/ songwriter, who is based in Los Angeles. Besides, he contributes his talent in producing, being a studio guitarist, and currently producing tracks in his home studio, for various local artists in LA.
He was born in Syria and raised in Europe (Switzerland and Austria), the Middle East and the United States and 1990, he moved to Los Angeles after completing his degree in audio engineering from Full Sail (a recording school). His diverse background helps him to be a multi talent musician, with the exposure of various types of music in different part of the world.
The song We Will Not Go Down is specially written and sang by him, in accordance to the horrendous situation in Gaza. Specially dedicated to the Palestinian and people around the world, he made the song available free for everyone!
